- This is an interesting view and one I haven't heard before. Art, at least in America, seems to take a backseat to entertainment. In the UK, and USA, people average 3-4 hours a day in front of the television. I guess you could say some of whats on tv is art, since art has no real definition, but it doesn't seem to be the environment for the type of experience described above.
The idea of something changing your perception is unsettling.
